Eastern Illinois opens the 2013 football season at San Diego State on Saturday night with a 7 p.m. (Central) kick off. EIU is coming off a 7-5 season, winning the Ohio Valley Conference regular season title with a 6-1 record. EIU lost in the opening round of the FCS playoffs at South Dakota State. San Diego State was 9-4 last year playing in the Poinsettia Bowl.
