The dog days of mid-August can dampen the spirits of even the most enthusiastic football player.
Montana coach Mick Delaney and his co-offensive coordinator Kefense Hynson planned a little comedic relief for after practice Wednesday at the Riverbowl. They broke out a wedge and golf balls for target practice.
The target, in this case, was Delaney, decked out in helmet and shoulder pads with a red No. 1 jersey. He stationed himself about 55 yards from his players, daring them to take their best shot.
