Patrick O’Connor has always been a very good student and athlete.
Now, the 22-year-old Leominster native is trying to excel in the coaching ranks at his alma mater, Wagner College, in Staten Island, N.Y.
O’Connor, who graduated from Division 1 Wagner last year after a tremendous four-year career on the gridiron where he was named Second Team All-NEC in his senior campaign, is hoping his excellent study habits in the classroom and his strong IQ and play on the field will help translate into a successful first year as the assistant defensive backs coach for the Seahawks.
