5 out of 12 teams remain undefeated in OOC play heading into this week.
The marquee matchup is Killtoppers90 (AvidMarc) squaring off with AppGuy04. Both come in at 2-0 and are ranked 1st and 3rd in total points respectively. AvidMarc is powered by the three-headed monster of RB Wes Marshall (Southern Utah) and WR's Steve Ogden (Valpo) and Shaheer McBride (Delaware State) while AppGuy has Payton candidate and BCS killer Ricky Santos at QB and the backfield tandem of Eldra Buckly (Chatty) and Jonathan Hurt (Lafayette). Should be another high scoring battle, with Killtoppers slightly favored.
In other action:
The second and 4th highest scorers face off with 2-0 nevadagriz taking on 1-1 Gil Dobie. A loss could would require Gil Dobie to virtually run the table to make the playoffs.
2-0 Hawks Nest (me) tries to remain undefeated behind its "defense wins championships" mantra (only Killtoppers has allowed less points this year) against geewhizbang.
The final 2-0 team ButlerGSU takes on 0-2 bedrocky.
Two time champion laparka faces off with blackfordpu as both try to get their first win of the season.
Hard luck Swami (0-2, 5th in points) is favored heavily this week over 0-2 Patwulf, but continues to raise eyebrows by keeping 6 QB's on his roster when only 1 starts.
