any predictions on ISU vs. EIU?

The Birds are real banged up after the UCA game, and EIU needs this game bad with one loss already, a potential loss coming up at Hawaii, and an OVC battle down the road at EKU.

Read somewhere that this is the 94th time EIU and ISU have played. That's quite a long rivalry, and this year it should be a great game between the 7th ranked ISU Redbirds and the (in some polls) 17th ranked EIU Panthers.

I'm going say the Birds defense comes through again for a tough fought
victory over EIU. Hmmmm? 24-14

I took EIU +18. I think Ill St will win but EIU is a quality team... it should be a fairly close game.

EIU and the OVC are moving back up the I-AA ranks.

I still think there is a good shot at two OVC teams in the playoffs this year
