Coach Mangurian on Hank Trumbull: Good size and athleticism. Had to overcome a lower level of competition coming into camp. Confidence improving with experience. Inconsistent decision-making ability and execution. With a year in the system he will run the offense more efficiently. Accuracy has to improve along with pre-snap coordination. Will split reps with Trevor this spring. More of a vocal leader than Trevor, that doesn’t mean better, just different. Needs to see situational awareness and meeting prep on the field. Will be a competitive spring.

2012: Played in one game against Cornell.

At Chadwick School: As a senior was team captain, Prep League MVP, first team All-CIF, second team All-Southern California and ESPN second team all-state ... three-time first team all-league and three-time first team All-CIF ... threw for 3,614 yards and 44 touchdowns.

He hauled in 24 passes for 475 yards and three scores as a junior to help his team to a conference title. Rogers was named team captain of the football and basketball teams and also competed in track and field. He set a school record in the triple jump during his track career.
