North Dakota State, who won the school’s second straight Division I national title last year and the school’s tenth overall NCAA crown, was a unanimous No. 1 in 2013 in a preseason poll conducted by the staff of CSN.
The Bison made the school’s third consecutive playoff appearance pay off in their second trip to Frisco, Texas to win a second straight national title and second straight championship game win over Sam Houston State.
NDSU will be looking to be become only the second school to win three straight national titles to join Appalachian State, who completed that feat from 2005 to 2007.
