WV fumbles, overturned, shouldn't have been. MD would have had the ball on their own 40

Little known fact:
WVU wide receiver Darius Reynaud was part of an unstoppable running-back tandem with Southern Illinois running back Craig Turner that won the 2003 Louisiana 5A state championship (with a 15-0 record) at Hahnville High School over nationally known Evangel Christian Academy.

Wow, this is gettin' NASTY. 28 points does not even indicate how badly Maryland has been dominated thus far. I don't know whether I want Maryland to crawl back into it in the second half or for WVU to put up another 70 points.

I do try!! :D :D :D :D :D
But seriously, they were the best RB tandem I ever saw in HS. Reynaud was more of the fast, run right past you back while Turner just ran over people.....and then kept going.

Why in the hell is Pat White (WVU QB) still in the game with 5:30 to go????
Based on that decision alone, I'm postive WVU will lose one game this year they have no business losing and falling rather far in the polls. Thus, all mountaineer fans can go back to b!tching about the lack of respect they get!!!!

Slaton HAS to be one of the top candidates for the Heisman.

Hey, at least we get to see how good WVU is - shame they are hurt by that schedule, because I'm not sure how many teams can slow them down. Slaton and White are huge talents.

They should go undefeated, if they do, I think they will be in the NC!

Well, if two other teams go undefeated you can almost count on WVU being the team left out. You also have to watch out for a team with 1 loss possibly sliding by them too - if it comes from one of the big conferences and the loss was real close, it could happen. Oh, for a playoff system in I-A - oh well.

I agree their schedule will hurt them if there are 3 undefeated teams

OVERRATED!!!!
They look sloppy, and big headed, don't play as a team, and have average defensive talent.
They are not in the same conversation with Ohio State, USC, Auburn,, LSU............................................... .......

You could've pasted that same comment from what people were saying before the Sugar Bowl last year before they jumped to a 28-0 lead on SEC champ Georgia, they of the 4th best defense in the nation built on an SEC schedule nonetheless. Slaton had 204 yards in that game breaking Tony Dorsett's record. It's easy to look sloppy when you play the schedule they do and a team as inferior as Maryland (the Big East gets knocked but frankly the ACC is pretty mediocre as well) - but they showed last year, with basically the same team they have this year, that they can score on anybody.
