Curious to see opinions on this "Metallic Purple" helmet...

Looks pretty good actually, would like to see it in the sun on video.

The one potential downside would be getting the jersey to match the helmet color. That always seems to be an issue for those teams that wear purple.

Great looking helmet...I want to see what it looks like with the top

I like that more than if it were matte. Very nice... even if it is purple. ;)

Looks good. I prefer helmets (and vehicles) to be shiny instead of matte.

I don't like matte helmets at all, but the super chromed ones can be annoying too. I think this one hits it just right. The color is dark and not the blinding aluminum color used by WKU and Rutgers. definitely the best purple helmet I've seen.

Great lid!!

Wouldn't mind seeing a green metallic with the gold bison outline for NDSU or vice versa.

I think the Yellow helmet was in honor of the 1972 OVC championship team last year...I hope. I personally was not a fan of that one.

Helmet looks good. It will look even better after it gets marked by some Colonel maroon later this fall!
