Their first season under had coach Ron Roberts didn’t start off with many fireworks but by the end of the season the Southeastern Louisiana Lions (5-6, 5-2 in SLC in 2012) finished with a flurry of wins and second in the highly competitive Southland Conference.
But even with their best finish in the SLC since reviving their football program in 2003, the Lions are not content to sit back and bask in their success.
“We’re still changing the process, we’re not where we want to be by any means,” Roberts said. “We can’t just sit back there and say ‘we’ve arrived.
