Forty-three years ago, Bob Ford lost his first road game as the University at Albany’s football coach. The score was 69-14.
“We played at Towson,” Ford says. “We got off the bus, and I watched them warm up. Then I watched us warm up, and I thought, ‘This is going to be a long afternoon.’ Sure enough, it was. They kicked our butt every which way but loose.”
