I doubt very seriously the CFPB and courts will see it this way.

The CFPB has been looking for lenders to make examples of ( the recent Colorado case is a good example) and to cement their place as a consumer friendly agency. This should fit that bill rather nicely.

Unfortunately they have no legal leg to stand on. What we did was not illegal, in any way shape or form. No legal action has been taken, none. The business did not close because of threat of legal action. That's been going on for years, but there is no beef to these threats. Let me explain, the state of New York bullied the banks into cutting off our access to the automated clearinghouse process. We lost our banks. That's why we shut down. There will be no legal charges brought.

I wasn't disagreeing with you but saying it may actually be a little worse to be a Chattanooga fan unless you just listen to Chattownmocs each year because then you would have several SoCon titles, a national title, moral victories, the best team in the nation, and that super secret win against Alabama in a scrimmage last week.

What the rest of us don't realize is that Chattanooga has 6 national titles, won 3 in a row, had a QB go in the 3rd round, has 20 players in the pros, the best defense in FCS, and win the SoCon every year but we all live in a dream and Chattownmocs lives in reality.

It's just not right and I always say karma will get you. If you treat people right you will have good things happen to you. To be honest I think you should catch heck if UTC doesn't win by 14. If this game is close or UTM wins then you are in for a long year. UTC should beat UTM by at least 14-17, and it would not shock me if you won by 20-23. Your real test doesn't come until game three in my mind. If UTM beats you then you are in big trouble.

Huesman numbers are alittle misleading, got alot of his yds and tds late in the 4th after Martin started playing prevent. He wasn't horrible but not as good as his numbers suggest.

No explanation here, but I wondered about it as I watched, and the announcers mentioned it toward the end of the game. They said Robinson was on the sideline (apparently in uniform) and speculated that perhaps he was injured during warmups, as they didn't know of any other reason for him not to play.

No explanation here, but I wondered about it as I watched, and the announcers mentioned it toward the end of the game. They said Robinson was on the sideline (apparently in uniform) and speculated that perhaps he was injured during warmups, as they didn't know of any other reason for him not to play.

I read the post game writeup, and there was no mention of "we played without our best player." Sounds a little bizarre.

I just cannot see UTC making the next step until the fix the offense. Huseman is a good player, but UTC is not going to win if he's carrying the ball 22 times and throwing it 30 times.

I don't think any of those games are a guarantee after this loss but I expect them to rebound and beat Austin Peay and play Georgia State well. They lose to GSU, probably Furman, Citadel, App, Wofford, Samford, and Alabama. Now, perhaps they could rebound and put together a run. I won't count them out yet. I will say though that if they lose 2 of the next 4, and it's possible, that they are done. There is no way they beat Alabama and having 4 losses, at minimum, they aren't getting in the playoffs. We will find out what they are made of over the next 3 weeks. They either pack up the tent and go home or they bounce back and put together a solid year.

I don'y know about counting UTC out just yet. They do have some great players, but they have no team. If they can find a way to play together with a little heart, they'll be a repeat of last season: dangerous, able to beat anyone, but not enough to win the title or make the playoffs.

Seems like they lost to another OVC team early last season at home (albeit a better OVC team).

I know they lost some linebackers from last year's team. Perhaps those losses were bigger than folks originally anticipated. They have some good line play, but it generally takes a strong linebacking corps to make a good defensive line into a great defensive line.

That's a reasonable comment. UTC has some talent. They are not the best team in the FCS. The are not going undefeated. They have some warts. They should be in contention for a playoff spot and the SoCon title.

In all honestly, this game could be more a result of Chatty's inconsistency than them just not being very good. I wouldn't be surprised to see GSU fending off yet another second half UTC comeback in a few weeks.

I've said it before and it's true...the best predictor of the future in football is the past. UTC certainly improved with Huesman but they have certainly not been consistent. Wofford is the only team among the eligible teams that has won a SoCon championship in the last 8 seasons and they have done it without Breitenstein or a defense like last year's. It seems foolish to me to not to say they are the favorites.
