I say Spurs in 7. I think regardless of who wins, the series will go 7 and will be a hard fought one for both teams. Some say this series will be boring, and from a certain point it might, but it will be between two of the most fundamental teams in the NBA.

I have to go with the Pistons. Going to be a very defensive playoff, low scoring and long........;)

San Antonio leads the best of 7 series 2 - 0 with a 97 - 76 victory over the Detroit Pistons. The setting will shift to Detroit for games 3 - 5. What seems to be wrong with the Pistons? I thought that at least they would be some competitive games but no so far.

Pistons in 6.

To take a quote from Michael Ray Richardson, upon being traded to the then terrible NJ Nets. "Ship Be Sinking"

Pistons in 6.

Looks like a longshot now, the will have to win 4 straight to do that. Detroit definitely needs to win their home games to win this series. They don't have a good chance going back to San Antonio down 3-2.

Game 3 of NBA Finals went to the Detroit Pistons as they defeated the San Antonio Spurs 96 - 79 to get their first win. San Antonio leads the best of 7 2 games to 1.

Detroit has just tied the NBA Finals series at 2 apiece with a convincing 102 - 71 destruction of the San Antonio Spurs. Ben Wallace gets a double-double with 11 pts and 13 rebs. Tim Duncan was the only factor for the Spurs with a 16 pts 16 rebs game. San Antonio committed 17 turnovers to Detroit's 3. Game 5 will be on Father's Day at 8:00 PM in Detroit.

Looks like this series has just gotten interesting. Although I didn't think it would be a sweep, I thought after the first two games that the Spurs wouldn't have put up a better showing in Detroit. Looks like home court advantage might be the only thing that decides who wins now.

and we all know how that worked out for Shaq and Miami... Pistons in six.

"It was the biggest blowout in the Finals since Indiana's 120-87 rout of the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5 in 2000. 'There was no minute in the whole game that we were close,' Ginobili said. 'It was a really ugly loss.'"

I meant in the context that both teams have won by fairly big margins in their home courts. Usually, home court doesn't really give that big of an advantage in the NBA.

NBA fans better enjoy these last few games, because a lockout may be right around the corner!

It(Home court) usually doesnt matter to championship quality teams of recent times(Bulls, lakers) especially. The Spurs better win tonight b/c i dont think Detroit will have a problem winning one on the road.

I have to agree with you there, game 5 will be very crucial. The Pistons can take the upper hand in this series with a win. Home court usually only matters in the NBA when you have two great teams that are almost equal in ability.

It depends on which officiating crew is calling each game.

Rasheed was lucky that he didn't have a Chris Webber incident at the end of regulation. It looked close, but the time clock had expired by the time he called time out.
