Despite the heat of east Texas, the installation of the new surface at Homer Bryce Stadium continues. With the turf in place the crew began placing the letters and the logos Thursday afternoon. The new Hellas Matrix surface was selected to replace the old surface, which has been used for the past nine seasons.
