If your team has its new roster out, does your team have any nice additions that fill in holes on your team that maybe weren't announced or part of the recruiting class?

I've found:

With 6 QBs on the roster UCA picked up:
Taylor Reed QB 6-3 215 So. El Dorado, Ark. / Arkansas

UCA has been in need of a good running game. Hopefully this 4 star recruit who redshirted for the Sooners can help that cause:
Danzel Williams RB 5-9 194 So. Arlington, Texas / Oklahoma

2010 (Sr.)
211 carries 1,659 yards 7.9 ypc 30 TDs

Kind of an old "surprise," but former power forward Jvonte Brooks quit the basketball team and is coming out as a tight end for Dartmouth this fall.

TE will be a position of need for us because of graduation, so hopefully he can pick things up quickly. xthumbsupx

Georgetown's leading WR transferred. Other than that, not much new.

Thanks for the update--played in 10 games last season and was a promising freshman.

By my count, nine underclassmen dropped off the 2012 roster. Not all were transfers, but it's still a concern.

Will he have to sit out a year? Moving from one FCS to another?

I would think so, based on the transfer rules. Someone can correct me if I missed something in the bylaws which sugest otherwise.

The biggest surprises on our roster aren't necessarily surprise additions, but the sizes of our returning and incoming players. I stopped by and watched voluntary workouts this evening with 85 kids in attendance. We're significantly larger at just about every position, particularly on the defensive line ... we'll go from averaging about 260 lbs on the DL in 2012 to over 300 lbs in 2013. Very impressive looking group.

Also, sophomore RB, Rasheed Harrell, has gained about 15-20 lbs and is now a rock solid 190 ... we had to take his redshirt off about midway through the year last year due to injuries and he played extremely well. I predict he has a big year.

I'd say there are no huge surprises for us, but to me the most interesting move on our roster is the that of Izzy Youyoute to the defensive backfield. He was actually our starting QB at the beginning of last season. He is a very good athlete and it will be interesting to see how he does. This also appears to mean that our coaches think that at least one of two red-shirt freshman will be capable of backing up Jerrick McKinnon.

Similar situation with the Bearkats. Chris Grett, our back up QB from last season, will be a safety this season. He played with the 1st team in the spring game and looked good. Projected to be the starter.
