The Southern Illinois football team placed 40 student-athletes on the 2012-13 Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll, the MVFC announced this week. In addition, Saluki long snapper Jason Stegman is one of 17 student-athletes in the conference to earn the league's highest academic achievement, the President's Council Academic Excellence Award.
