Doug Fullerton was able to get Divison I put on the Logo, but it was Jim Delaney's job to reduce the size.

It's a difference in naming policy, driven by the fact that the original name change was nothing but lip service to the division and does nothing to help the recognition of the league.

The Roman numeral is a basic thing in college sports, simple.
Not alot of D-II talk here my friend.
Changing the name from a subservient AA was a big one.
