The hometown news station does a bit on Ben Dupree. There's a shot of one of his HS classmates who now plays for Bucknell as well.
Ben's going to return punts this year as well.

Delusional if he thinks he's the fastest.

Back in 1970, Lehigh had a QB, Jerry Berger, who was probably 5'6", though they may have listed him as 5'9". Couldn't see him behind the center. Despite the limitations his height created, that team was part of the great rejuventation of Lehigh football, which had won a grand total of about 10 games from 1962-1969, by going 4-6 that year with a stunning upset of nationally ranked Delaware, 36-13, in Taylor Stadium, as well as a 7-0 upset of Rutgers.

Brett Gordon was "listed" at 5' 10", the same way Allen Iverson was 6'1". In reality he was probably 5'8". We would always wonder how he could see over his O-Line, but the guy did end up in the NCAA Semi's and 2nd in the Payton voting in 2002

We also brought in another undersized QB by the name of Matt Szczur who ended up having a pretty good college career.

Southern had A QB name Sam George he was only about 5'8, but was a great passer. Lead us to some our greatest come from behind victories
He also got the role as the body double for Jamie Fox in the movie "Any Given Sunday" he did all of the passing scenes

How tall is Kevin Higgins? But I think he was a DB for West Chester University (PA, D-II) back in the early 80's.

Ben Dupree of Susquehanna Township, a rising senior at The Citadel, is listed at 5-9 but plays much bigger on tape.
Why list him as so tall?

Dupree led The Citadel rushing attack to 167 yards rushing by the end of the first quarter....38-7 at halftime....he reminded
me of Armanti Edwards. Worst 52 to 28 loss ever saw. Cadets were rolling. Believe that's why we demoted the DC.
