Work continues at Homer Bryce Stadium removing the old surface in preparation for the Hellas' Matrix Surface to be used for the beginning of the 2013 football season. Crews have been working through the Texas heat, starting with the tartan surface located at the south end of the stadium. The new artificial surface will extend beyond the south goal, and will include purple end zones with white lettering.
