Bobby Lamb keeps the same display case on his new desk at Mercer University. Inside are intimate reminders and inanimate recruiters — the 10 Southern Conference championship rings Lamb earned through his 29-year tenure as a player and coach at Furman University.
“I’m very proud of those. I’ve still got them, and we still show them off,” said Lamb, who was hired as Mercer’s head coach in January of 2011.
