Not a big deal but in the future if it is not a specific tie to FCS then please put these in other sports.

This is huge news. Once I read the article I was amazed to see how much turmoil there had been at South Bend since the loss to Bama. What is going on there? I can see why Kiel would leave, but Golson?

Turns out an academic violation is why he isn't there anymore....

I bet he ends up at a school with lower standards.

Don't know what the violation is,but if it was an expulsion that doesn't bode well to getting into a higher institution

"Poor academic judgement" is what banned Golson from the school. Maybe he's better off at a JUCO... or maybe a D2.

The report I heard was that the 'disenrollment' arose from "residential life' issues. That does not say "academic" problem to me, but a social one...which could be a host of matters i will not speculate upon.

On the plus side Temple starts the season in South Bend. That day will be the first time I root against the Irish.
