Time to start the 2nd Annual Over/Under Countdown. As with last year, I'll be doing one a week for each of the conferences as we count down to the regular season. Pick the over or under (everything is with a 1/2 game on the end, so no pushes) and we'll see who gets the most right at the end of the season. Post season wins will count, not just regular season wins, so pick as you feel appropriate. Please just tell us Over or Under, if you explain your reasoning to everyone, you are only making it more difficult for you to win and for me to fill out the spreadsheet because I have to go through the paragraph you wrote just to find where you actually made a pick! Remember that in order to be eligible for the trophy, you must pick the games for EVERY conference. I've got a lot to live up to as last year I picked around 70% of the teams within 1.5 games of their actual finish in the regular season. The first year was pretty successful as we had 114 players and the game ended up going as down to the wire as it could with the SWAC Championship game deciding the winner; Arkansas-Pine Bluff came back from a 21-7 deficit at halftime to defeat Jackson State by a field goal in OT, had Jackson State managed to hold on to the game, we would have needed the tie-breakers. In the end, Ursus was able to edge Go Lehigh by a point. The more, the merrier, so let's see how well you can pick the season ahead.
