He will get a look. Citadel pushed Terrell Dallas before his injury and I think Darien is better than him.

With a RFr QB throwing to him this year his numbers may or may not be affected by this. He was outstanding last season and this season with 11 DI games (no FBS), 7 home games (against teams like Montana, EWU, MSU, and South Dakota St) it will be an exciting year for one of the best WR UND has had since Weston Dressler (IMO).

Not sure if joking... but I predict playoffs this season for UNI. You can't keep a good QB down for too long!

SCFBF, based on what you've seen (or haven't seen so far), do you think Sawyer Kollmorgen is serious NFL prospect material in two years?

Too early to put his name in the ring. He's not even being pushed to the scouts, yet. Let's see how the season goes.

He's on my watch list for the 2015 draft but you have to remember that it is two years away. He could be a mid round pick or a reject by then. If he develops like I hope he will be though. Let's just hope the agents aren't getting to him early. Sometimes they get to players early to be the first on them and they blow up the ego and ruin the kid. It happens more than you want to know.

Anyone remember Tony Lezotte? He thought he was a 3rd round pick and really got his ego puffed up. I don't even think he got in a camp and if he did he certainly didn't make it past the first cut. He was a four-time All-American and yet no NFL career.

One thing to remember is that this is just a list of seniors. UNI doesn't have much in their senior class but they have sophomores and juniors who can play. UNI should be okay. They will definitely be better in 2014 than in 2013 if you go strictly by what they have on paper.

Here are a few notes.

Furman OT Dakota Dozier. The voting was clearly wrong based off input from scouts and what I saw on tape. he was the best OL in the SoCon and it wasn't close last year. His team success hurt him. He will win the Blockgin Trophy with a good senior year.

Howard S Julien David. Keep an eye on this guy. He is athletic and fast. Could rise up boards like Bethea and Bartell did.

Cornell QB Jeff Mathews, Murray State AP Walter Powell, Stony Brook OT Michael Bamiro, and Princeton DT Caraun Reid are also high on the radar.

App fans don't realize what they may have in Tony Washington. I don't have him in the draft yet but he has a shot. A lot of scouts like him.

Towson duo of Jordan Love and Eric Pike is something to watch.

Montana's OT Danny Kistler, NDSU OT Billy Turner, and GSU QB, as a RB, Jerick McKinnon are also names to watch. South Dakota LB Tyler Starr is a guy I think could surprise. Academics have hurt him but he is athletic.

NDSU CB Marcus Williams is overrated by the media in terms of draft stock. He is a first-team All-American in FCS but he is considered a late round or free agent by scouts right now. He's got talent but got burned a lot in the NC game and has flags.

I really like Delaware DT Zach Kerr and JMU LB Stephon Robertson. Robertson is a poor man's Deter Coakley. He can fly and is undersized just like him.

NAU RB Zach Bauman, Marist DE Terrence Fede, Jackson State CB Qua Cox, Murray State RB Jaamal Berry, Bryant WR Jordan Harris, Tennessee State OG Kadeem Edwards, SHSU RB Tim Flanders, and SDSU OT Bryan Witzmann are some other names to watch.

Maine CB Kendall James ran a 4.3 for scouts in the spring so keep an eye on him. Maine DE Michael Cole is back from injury.

I think SBU RB Marcus Coker will have a better year.

Some potential sleepers scouts have told me they like a little bit are Southern WR Lee Doss, Jacksonville State LB Rashad Smith, Liberty DT Francis Bah, App State WR Andrew Peacock, FAMU LB Brandon Denmark, Tenn St FS David Van Dyke, Delaware OT Erle Ladson, EWU CB T.J. Lee, Robert Morris OL A.J. Dalton, Liberty OT Hunter Steward, and EIU QB Jimmy Garoppolo are also on their lists and worth watching.

Tony slumped a little last year but that may be due to a future NFL draft pick Price. App's streak of picks may come to an end this year. But we have a few underclassmen on defense and Price that will get drafted in future years.

I wish we could develop a couple olineman.

Don't discount this year. Tony was playing hurt. He will have a big year this season.

Don't consider Price a slam dunk. He is young and I'm sure friends, agents, media, etc. are telling him how great he is. Let's see if he stays hungry and keeps getting better. If he does stay hungry and works hard, ignoring the hype, then he should be a draft pick.

UNI would seem to have the least talented team in the conference, yet I'd bet we finish second....third at very worst

Going to be interesting what we do with McKinnon. Monken has said that he plans to not red shirt anyone, but I'm not sure if that was just coach speak. I think McKinnon is going to be an unreal RB prospect with his combination of speed and strength.

OT Hunter Steward Liberty Big South

He is already headed to the CFL as soon as his 2013 season is done. I do think Malcolm Boyd has a chance at being a pro prospect as well coming off the leg injury. I think Nick Sigmon is someone youre going to want to watch for the 2015 draft class (2014 will be his R-senior season)

You don't think Steward would go to the NFL if NFL teams show interest? I already know there is going to be interest in him. If he goes straight to the CFL it is probably because the NFL didn't grade him well enough to bring to camp this fall unless you know for a fact he would prefer to play in Canada?

He's not on the roster...nor has he ever played in a game at UNI.

He was JUCO in 2010/2011...likely redshirted last year.

I'm going to have to question how you came up with his name as a pro prospect....and start to question the entire list to an extent.

He was on the list because of what he did in JC. Believe it or not scouts begin to look at the JC ranks. He was a really good punter and suppose to be a stud for UNI. I was under the impression he may be a senior this year even though he did not play at UNI last year. I was thinking perhaps a one and done prospect. Looks like it's true that he is not playing after all. This list will keep changing as I see players and talk to scouts. It won't really become a list to say is "money" or "bet on it" until about a month before the draft as names will be deleted and added.

I heard he was suspended. He's still on the list of players to ask about during the fall. Steward is on their list as well. I would think he will go to the NFL if he is good enough. People I have talked to seem to think he is worth bringing into a NFL camp. It would not surprise me though if he did end up in the CFL because Liberty has yet to produce a NFL quality OL. He would have to be the best Liberty has had in 10 years to possibly make it.

He's on my list of maybes. Needs to have a big year but certainly a name on the radar that could be. He just needs to put up big numbers and dominate.

And recover from his knee injury.

Look our for Malcolm Boyd to possibly fill that void as well. He is coming off a gruesome leg injury from last year but he was in line for some All-American looks coming into last year before the Norfolk State game

OH- RB

I assume those are the ones you aren't sure on?

Yes...thanks. Any reason why they use OH for the running backs? I kinda can see it with OB, DC, WO and IB but OH confuses me

Offensive Halfback. It's an old term used for RB.

Gotcha...anyway, I think somebody you will want to keep an eye out for is Nick Sigmon this year and next. He is very athletic for a 6-1 245 Lb linebacker and if he had not missed one game and part of the Wake Forest game with an injury, he probably would have led the team in tackles and been one of the top players in the country last year

I'll add a shining star on UCA's offense...

Chase Dixon
Position: TE
Height: 6-5
Weight: 239
Class: Senior

17 receptions for 215 yards and 4 TDs this year. Not impressive? You got to see this guy's build. He's being used more lately and I think coach is realizing how much he should have used him in the past OR the kid finally developed mentally and physically that he is so dominant.
I'll see if I can find some film on him. All I know is 20 NFL teams have come out to see him this year. He just looks and plays so dominant out on the field. Reminds me of former UCA Bear Aaron Fairooz.

Dixon is done for the year with a broken leg so forget the above statement. xbawlingx
