Simple question...

Does your school have their own course? If so, is it open to the public?

I've played Colgate's, Bucknell's and Penn State's tracks. Yale and ND's are on my bucket list.

Tennessee Tech's home course has produced two PGA pro's -one a 2-time winner currently on tour. However, it is a city-owned course, open to the public and may be the worst goat-ranch course I've ever played on. Small town of Cookeville (pop. 35,000) has 4 public 18-hole courses and one 9-hole course and TTU's home course is the worst of the bunch. Also, a great golf area (Fairfield Glade/Crossville) is right up the road 20 minutes or so, is awesome, but they never play there...TMI?

I believe Golf Digest had King's Walk ranked 4th in ND.

I thought the 9 hole course near campus was solid.

Playing their home matches at Saucon Valley, Lehigh would be nuts to create its own.

AFAIK they're eventually going to pave that over and build the new south campus on it.

I always thought they had room too where they built the golf complex. I agree though, Saucon Valley is simply awesome!!

Lehigh had the land a number of years ago on the west side of Mountainside Drive, across from the Goodman Campus entrance. Long since sold to developers where manhy McMansions now reside. Back in the 1960's that area was shown on the Master Plan as a future golf course. I remember seeing it on my recruiting trip when "Goodman Stadium" was shown as "sometime in the near future"...took almost 20 years to fruition.

Dunno, used to play my golf at the dorms. Every floor a nine holer at least, and potential for 18 at certain dorms.
