Extremely proud of Robert for all he's gone through and the hard work he's put in to get to this point. A lot of us saw this coming when we signed him out of Hammond High School, and to see it play out the way a lot of us thought is exciting. He'll be a good one for a long time as long as he can stay healthy ... couldn't happen for a better a kid!!

Just shows that my preaching of him being a 1st team All-American was confirmed. NFL teams don't draft players who aren't the very best in FCS in the 2nd round. Alford should have been 1st team and I must say that this should prove what I said about him. I almost voted him #1 on my Buchanan ballot.
