Really a non-story. Most folks in the South call the annual New Years Eve Bowl game the "Peach Bowl," as it was called for years. Chic-fil-A's presence is everywhere.

The Peach Bowl has long postured itself to be one of the sites selected to host an eventual playoff game. Atlanta is the virtual epicenter of college football, and the Peach Bowl is arguably the most prestigious non-BCS Bowl, which essentially pits whatever ACC team didn't make the BCS with the number 3 or 4 SEC team. The games are usually better than many of the BCS games (I imagine the people interested in watching Florida State dismantle NIU is substantially less than those interested in Clemson v. LSU)

In 2012, Chic fil A hosted three football games at the Georgia Dome. The three games drew nearly 200,000 people and added $100million in revenue. Needless to say, CFA makes a lot of money off college football in Georgia.
