He's being loaded onto an unmarked van bound for Newark, DE as we speak.

He was going to go to RIce before PSU offered him at the last minute. He still has his red-shirt so he can transfer and sit a year and still have 3 years left to play. I think he will look to FBS first. Also he is from Georgia so he probably goes back down South.

He doesn't have to sit a year. Penn State athletes still have this year for a free transfer due to the sanctions.

Ya, that is correct. He signed before the sanctions were announced so he can transfer without sitting out. I doubt he would actually play anywhere next year at an FBS school, so it still may make sense for him to use his redshirt next year, but he has many options.
