Rankings mean nothing at this time guys.....chill. I would think most teams would rather have a win over a ranked team than non-ranked team.

I like what I see: Youngstown State at #2. Although they won't stay there unless they get their defense going and getting the ball to #81 Irizarry more!

#2 seems a little suspect given the almost close call with slippery rock.
I don't mean this as smack, so I appologize in advance if it gets construed that way.

I actually agree with you hooligan. I don't think giving up 21 points to Wet Rock is deserving of a #2 ranking.
I think we will see in the AGS poll that YSU will remain put, and definitely won't be that high

O trust me.. I know. YSU's defense has a lot to prove. The offense has nothing to prove.
I would never put YSU at #2. Keep them where there at.
Slippery Rock was mixing up plays when we thought pass, they'd run and vica versa. But Slippery Rock had just 3 established drives: All of which scored.
The other 7 were either punts, fumbles, or a safety.. All of which were 6 plays or less.

3 drives is all it takes, you aren't gonna score 51 points on defenses like Cal Poly

I'll go you one better. Richmond 25, Hampton the team Richmond destroyed in the playoffs 10.
Hansen is a Mid-West guy and those are the only games he actually sees. He also ranks D-2 and D-3. I have been to his site and he appears to be a really well balanced guy but it is obvious he has never seen either the MEAC or A-10 in person.

lets face it Ralph, Rickey likes to freelance and we have guys who will be glad to lay the wood when he is unprotected. guys like Kiandre Hepburn and Erik Johnson (Shawns Brother) along with our experienced DBs will lay him out. we can bet, if you want, he wont finish the game on 9/30.
He havent played UNH since 94 and took out theirSR. QB (not the goal here but UNH tends to let it happen) Rickey didnt play until the middle of the 3rd Q. of that game.

That's all. I do not wish to bet my friend, on injuring student-athletes as I'm sure you do not. I understand your concern if you have historical evidence about Santos. Just asking.

And the game will be in the MidWest???? Evanston is in the Mid West the last I checked. No surprise there. Hansen's knowledge of the Eastern schools is limited at best. It is evident in his rankings. To put Richmond 15 spots below Hampton after Richmond destroyed Hampton in the playoffs is just pure stupidity. Where was his "staff" for that one???xidiotx xidiotx xidiotx xidiotx

Are you implying Delaware took out Guinerei in '04??? It was a clean hit. I was there no one wants to see anyone get hurt. As for not playing since '94. I was there for an inspired UNH effort in 2000 against a Matt Nagy led Hens team. UNH won in overtime. :bang: :bang: Delaware beat UNH in Durham in 2003. Delaware and UNH have definitely played a ton from 1994 on.

BTW, watch out for them.
DelSt gets Hampton and SCSt at home. Not that they have great home field advantage, but they avoid Hampton and Orangeburg.
Right now I'd give DSU a better chance at making the playoffs than UD. There would be a lot of people rooting for the Hens to make it if the Hornets do.
