Halftime score:
New Mexico 6
Portland State 0
Thunderstorms in the Albuquerque are are wrecking havoc with the radio feed, causing it to cut out. Lobos have been down deep in the red zone but Vikings defense stiffened and held them to two field goals.

PSU ball on PSU 32 yard line.
T-storms in the area are causing the radio feed to cut out. I don't know if New Mexico might have a better link. A lot of improvising from the PSU radio crew.

What is the mtn channel?
Mountain West Sports Channel. Launched just this week. Designed mainly for Mountain West Conference games, but Big Sky games will find it's way on the schedule also. I think only Comcast is showing the channel, and it comes with basic cable.
I think Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Nevada have this channel. Maybe not Las Vegas, but I'm not sure.

Viking D held Lobos without a touchdown. Also stiffened up when the Lobos got deep in the red zone twice in the first half. Great showing against a mid-pack Mtn West team that beat Utah in Salt Lake last year.

Seems like MSU's victory over Colorado has overshadowed PSU's win over New Mexico somewhat. Any other week this would have made more news, but make no mistake about it, this was a huge victory. Congrats Viks -- way to make the Big Sky proud.
