Every football and basketball season, the Pac-10 writers bemoan "East Coast" bias. Whatever. How about the fact that there is only 1 BCS conference West of the Rockies, and not even 2 dozen I-A teams total? As for basketball, let's face it, the Pac-10 was weak this year. They only deserved 2 bids (U-Dub, conference champs and UofA). Stanford and UCLA's dismal first round performances confirmed that.

I've long since given up arguing "East Coast Bias." It's like politics or abortion: People have made up their mind one way or another, and nothing will change it!
