I'll just leave this here.
Moral Victory? Let's just rename them the Fighting Sue (http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf-dr-saturday/ohio-state-gets-rings-12-0-season-192306474--ncaaf.html)

I don't know how they can claim to be champions if they are ineligible to be champions. The Big Ten didn't give them a trophy.
Will those rings and gold pants be showing up in tattoo parlors or are those off limits now? Maybe strip joints?

Sounds like something A&M would do.

I thought this was pathetic. Last January or so, they put these signs up on Lane Ave, which forms the northern border of campus and runs though the athletic complex.

Apparently App is talking about doing this if their 2013 football teams "wins" the SoCon.
I have no problems with rings for an exceptional season, but putting "champions" on the ring when you didn't legitimately win a championship is wrong.
The core 7 of the SoCon will do everything possible on the field to make sure App doesn't have to worry about that this year :)

It appears, they won the "Leaders" division of the B1G which carries no official designation but in this case, is as much a Championship as a Sun Bowl championship.

FBS has dozens of champions every year.

The trend that I'm noticing in college football all the way down to low level peewee sports. "Everyone is a winner. You get a participation trophy and the person that won, didn't really win."
Lame.
There are winners, and there are losers.

Wouldn't NDSU get rings for winning the conference and not the FCS NC? They're just rings.

It will probably be used as collateral for the bail bondman first.
