I can't remember which talking head on ESPN picked Cal to be playing for the national title, maybe it was Corso. But they are getting ABSOLUTELY steam rolled by the Vols. 35-0.

It was Corso. Just further proof he's incompetent.

I knew Cal was overrated going into this season. What I hadn't relized was the extent of that overrating. Sheesh... They gave up at halftime. The Pac-10 will be a 2 team race this year: Southern Cal and Oregon.

The guy on Sporting News Radio, Artie or Arnie or something, said the same thing. They were both very, very wrong.

I would not have thought Tennessee would kick Cal's but like that. I hate that school, I hate that frickin' song, I hate everything about the University of Tennessee.

Yeah, Monterio Hardesty scored a huge TD for the Vols, a guy that played at New Bern HS and was passed over by all NC I-A schools.

Are you sure? I can't understand a damn word that guy mumbles. He might have been bitching about his hemorroids instead! :)

Like i said with my picks, too much Rocky Top. Simply put Cal does not go into Knoxville and win no matter how good they are. Tennessee will be a 9-10 win team this year.

Lee Corso picked the Cal Bears. As a Cal alum (grad school) I like the Bears and love seeing a game at memorial stadium but knew immediately that Corso was out of his mind. Cal has a great tradition, but its an academic institution, not a football factory. Fullmer can recruit anybody he wants at TN, Tedford has no such luxury. Also Cal's starting CB tore his ACL before the season even begain and Longshore has been having back problems. It was pretty obvious that Corso's prediction was BS as soon as he made it.

Holtz is an idiot. USC could have ran that score up 20 points more if they wanted to.

Not so fast sweetheart. Cal can recruit whoever they want. Remember Jason Kidd? I doubt that he had the grades to get into Cal. It isn't to the extent of Tennessee's ability, but they do bend the rules to allow those who would not have been accepted to come play. Say what you want, but the Cal athletic department can get those on the outside into the "classroom."

Mark May picked Cal as the big disappointment of the week saying they could have played semi good football and beaten Tennessee...I DONT THINK SO, Fullmer had those VOls Flying past Cal!!! Total Domination! That game wasnt as close as the 35-18 score weas, thats for sure

WVU should go undefeated, so thats a definite possibility, but Cal, don't think so

Its definitely a good possibility that WV will go since Michael Bush is done for the season with Louisville.

Cal was destined to fail in this game.............TOO MUCH GOING AGAINST THEM. xlolx

Ranked #9............110,000 yokles and a Blue tick hound rootin' for them............ It's HOT and HUMID as only the South can get..............Phat Phil is under the gun from last season.............PLAYERS WITH SOMETHING TO PROVE from last season............the rest of the SEC,(EVEN VANDY), giving them the :eyebrow: like they punks.xlolx

Cal is lucky they only lost 35 to zip.xlolx  xlolx
