Lafayette was in great shape to contend late in the 2012 season, with a 5-2 record and wins in its first two Patriot League contests heading into a home date with Georgetown on Oct. 27. But the Leopards dropped that game, and three more after that, to finish with a losing record for the third year in a row. It was the second straight year that Lafayette increased its win total, though, and now the Leopards aim to get back into contention for the top of the Patriot League in 2013.
