Still a possibility and I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case. I think the band being invited, and in the email requesting their attendance they were told they had to put on a VERY impressive performance, has me thinking otherwise.

I'd be kinda' surprised if GSU was announcing a new HC for hoops tomorrow... the national coaches convention is at the final four and everybody who is anybody in scholastic coaching will be there. I would be surprised if anything happens along that front until then but you never know.

I don't understand all the use of "behind" here. There is no evidence to suggest the chronology of these invites. As loose lipped GaSo has been about this whole thing and how secretive ASU has, its no wonder GaSo leaks the info first.

The PL has traditionally added schools who have limited (or in some cases) no institutional interest in upgrading their respective programs to the competitive levels of other conferences, so they literally have no place (other than maybe the Ivy) to aspire to.

He also said that the Sun Belt logo will be retired, and a re-branding will take place over the next few months. I thought that the press conference was well done. Kudos to GSU, and here's to more conference losses to App State!

Yeah. I think it's a forgone conclusion that WKU is going CUSA. Makes me think that the SBC already has another program lined up. I've seen the JMU rumors kick back up since the CAA seems to be falling apart.
