Any picks?
#2 Notre Dame 42 G-Tech 17- Ball will struggle to get the ball to Johnson and G-Tech will struggle to do everything else. Notre Dames D will be considerably improved from last year, watch.
#6 USC 34 Arkansas 21- Some think this might be a close game. I dunno, USC has so much talent and they smoked the hogs by 60 last year. Fayetteville is a tough place to play which might give Booty and some of the young trojans a little trouble.
#23 Tennessee 17 #9 Cal 14- Cal might be a very good team but i just can't see any PAC 10 school other then USC winning in Knoxville. The Vols had a down year last year but they should rebound to atleast 8 wins. Too much Rocky Top for the Bears.
#11 Florida State 28 #12 Miami 17- I think Miami will struggle to do anything on offense and their great D will wear down. Weatherford is better then Covington and Miami is down their starting RB.

I usually handicap college football games for my friends who like to bet on them. I told them I won't touch the ND, Tennessee or Miami games. However, my "Easy Money" pick this week is USC over Arkansas.
The Tojans are only 8.5 point favorites. If they don't cover the spread on Saturday, then they're not going to win the Pac-10 either!
It's odd. I don't gamble on football games at all. However, every week, I pick about 6 or 7 big games and make predictions based on the spread, just to test my own ego. I'm usually batting around .700 most seasons. :D

I have to agree about the USC/Arkansas game. The Razorbacks are using a new QB and are without their best player in McFadden. I don't think that they're defense can keep up the the speed of the USC offense. I know that USC lost a lot....but no one in the country has recruited like they have over the last 4 years either.

Notre Dame over Georgia Tech: Charlie Weis is just too smart to stumble against this second rate ACC team that sometimes shows up in the big games.
Tennessee over Cal: Every year there is a PAC-1 team that makes noise in the preseason. But unlike most PAC-1 schools UT actually plays defense and the Vols are on a redemption mission. I think they'll win this one easily.
USC over Arkansas: Closer than last year, but USC will simply outscore Arkansas.
FSU over Miami: Miami doesn't have the depth at the skill positions any more. FSU was young last season and this year's team is just like last year's, only more experienced.
