NASCAR at the mid-point of the pre-Chase season

Currently there are 13 drivers eligible for The Chase. Realistically, only 10 drivers will be competing for the championship down the stretch. Which of the drivers currently in the top ten will not make The Chase? Which drivers outside of the top ten will make The Chase?

I don't think Carl Edwards (currently 9th) and Rusty Wallace (currently 7th) will make The Chase.

I do think that Jeff Gordon (currently 11th) and Dale Earnhardt Jr. (currently 15th) will make The Chase.

I think Rusty will make the chase because of the tracks comming up. He usually runs very well at Pocono twice NHIS, and Bristol. Also he's one of the best road racers out there so he should do pretty well at Sears Point and Watkins Glen. If he can hold his own at Daytona, Michigan twice and Chicago i think he'll be alright to make it.

Here's hoping that Jimmie Johnson crashes early in the next few races to tighten the chase up a little.. I want to see my man Jeff Burton and at least 15 drivers in the chase this year.. Burton's ran good, but J.J. has done so well, him and biffle are pulling away.
