Yeah I was about to say that he actually ran a 4.3, not 4.19. I have seen UNI play a few times and I didn't remember anyone that fast. Sinkfield ran a 4.46 last spring. If he had ran a 4.19 I'd want to know where he was training and I think every other prospect in the nation would as well. I mean could you imagine improving almost .30 in the 40?

reported that the guy who clocked him at 4.19 was, .... his agent!!, Everyone else clocked him around 4.3, still, his numbers were impressive, guy really helped himself with the upcoming draft.

If he runs a 4.19, my fat***** runs a 4.4! Not a chance. This is why the combine is laser timed and not hand timed by the players coaches/agent.

Pro days are officially timed by NFL scouts. It just so happens that some schools allow agents and the agent will put out fluff numbers. The problem with that now is that many of us can get the real numbers so agents who do that get busted pretty quickly now.

Same difference. My point being that laser timers are used and hand timers are not accurate.

NFL scouts are pretty close compared to most people who time. The general person who times could be 0.25 or so off what the electronic time will be while I have seen a NFL scout clock a 4.50 on a 4.54 electronic time. My point is that NFL scouts are the best timers outside of the electronic method and to make pro days and the combine a comparison of apples to apples it is best to go by hand times. NFL teams use their own hand times and not the electronic times from the combine anyway. When you see all those scouts on TV timing, they are using the times they get the second the run is finished as opposed to waiting on the electronic times and using them. If they used electronic times it would be a complete waste for them to sit there and spend so much time clocking them on their own.
