Saint Francis U moved to 6-4 on the season thanks to a 4-0 performance at the UMBC Retriever Classic. NEC Softball Player of the Week Davina Kachnovitz went 8-for-13 on the weekend and posted a .706 on base percentage, while also recording at least one hit, one run scored and one RBI in all four games. Her teammate Ketarah DeVries picks up NEC Picther of the Week accolades, as she earned three wins on the weekend. She tossed 13.2 innings and surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits, and struck out 15. Quinnipiac's Courtney Solt is the NEC Rookie of the Week. The freshman posted a .476 batting average and went 10-for-21 throughout the five-game weekend series as she tallied at least one hit in every game over the stretch.
