A Wagner official on Thursday backed up Syracuse’s assertion that SU’s home opener against the Seahawks would count toward bowl eligibility.
Many Orange fans seemed wary the game against Wagner would not count because it offered too few football scholarships required under NCAA rules. Syracuse schedule-maker Herman Frazier explained on Monday that Syracuse was informed by Wagner that the game would count.
