John McClain from the Chronicle reports, "Also on Monday the Texans placed kick returner Jerome Mathis on the physically unable to perform list as he recovers from a fractured foot. He is tentatively scheduled to return in October."
Jerome Mathis is helluva talent when he gets a chance to perform. The Texans are going to have to wait and see what happens, if he's able to play this year. He was injured earlier this offseason in a motorcycle accident. NFL players just never learn...
