UMass-Colgate is an interesting battle between two clubs that should be in contention for their league championship.

It's also the first game on McGuirk's new surface----the first update to the stadium in 40 years.

Bomar might be the story as of now

What's the top story in your eyes for week one?

SHSU enrolling Bomar. It may take a while for everything to iron itself out (suspensions, etc.) but over the next couple of years this could be a real big story in I-AA. Talent wise he is probably better than Ingle Martin and look how well he worked out for Furman. Of course, Martin had more to work with initially at FU than Bomar has currently at SHSU, but if things go well he will be a great recruiting tool. The big question to be answered is how he will fit in as a part of the team and how they will accept him. Hopefully all will work out well for him and the team.
