Good for him as he seems like a good guy, but damn at the comments on the article? Is most of the state that hostile toward your football team?

I don't know who or what, but there's some clique of miserable people who sit at home all day and complain about every story posted on that newspaper site. They did the same for the state's other major newspaper (Portland Press Herald) until that site went to facebook only commenting. It's become a circle jerk of like 20 people that completely inhibit any rational conversation on the BDN site. Basically, imagine a group of MplsBison like people that get their jollies making each other more and more fired up.

So, disregard those comments as a conduit of public opinion in Maine.

Cool, good to hear. I have a lot of respect for the Maine program after their visits to Statesboro.
