Former Western Kentucky defensive coordinator and interim head coach Lance Guidry will join the staff at Stephen F. Austin State in Nacogdoches, Texas, the Daily News learned Sunday. Guidry’s position with the Lumberjacks could not be confirmed this morning.

Guidry spent two seasons at WKU, helping the Hilltoppers become one of the top defenses in the Sun Belt Conference. He also served as interim head coach in December when former coach Willie Taggart left for the University of South Florida
