Raise your hand if you saw this coming. Bobby Valentine's job search has taken him to the unlikeliest of places: Sacred Heart University.

The Fairfield, Conn. school is looking for a new athletic director, and according to the Connecticut Post, Valentine is in the running.

From the Connecticut Post (http://www.ctpost.com/sports/article/Source-Bobby-V-interviewed-for-SHU-AD-4232480.php):
According to a school source who wished remain anonymous, former Red Sox and Mets skipper Bobby Valentine is among the candidates for the job. Valentine, a Stamford native, visited the campus in Fairfield about two weeks ago, according to the source.

Valentine is just one of several candidates in the mix, according to the report. But why? The search should start and end with Valentine, should it not?

Who better to shape young minds about the benefits of physical fitness (http://www.csnne.com/xfinity/More-pain-for-Valentine-A-bike-accident-?blockID=783149), proper sleep (http://www.csnne.com/baseball-boston-redsox/redsox-talk/Report-Pedroia-tries-to-set-the-record-s?blockID=765433), and an unrelenting pursuit of success (http://www.csnne.com/baseball-boston-redsox/redsox-talk/Red-Sox-notes-Valentines-behavior-turns-?blockID=766719)?

Seems like Valentine, a Connecticut native, would be the obvious choice.
