If you were a GM and building a team, who of the following players would be the first player you added.

Is there supposed to be a list?

There she is

I personally would choose a pitcher first, but of those guys, I'd take Beltran, best 5 tool player on the list

None of the above. Joe Mauer.

Pujols out of those on the list...I'd like to say Ryan Howard, but not quite yet...I'd like to see him get the K's down...but I guess that comes with the territory...

I second that, build a team around youth at a key position.

Albert Pujols, hands down.

And he is still young - only 3 years older than Mauer.

ESPN interviewed Julio Franco the other day, and he said you can add 2 years to any published age of any Dominican player, its just common practice to subtract 2 when coming here

I voted Alfonso Soriano----and I make him a 2nd baseman again....NO one compares at 2nd base to his numbers.

If I chose Soriano, it would be as an OF. HEs been surprisingly good out there, and his numbers stack up very well with other Left fielders.
