Grambling worse basketball team ever?

I'm sure most of you know my feelings on Grambling, their team does suck a big one this year. They'll probably go winless.

See that video up there? That's two-plus minutes of highlights from Cleveland State's 92-49 victory over Grambling State on Nov. 9. Put another way: It's two-plus minutes of lowlights from the first game of what's shaping up to be the worst Division I college basketball season in history.

Hmm... why can't Dartmouth or Brown (perennial Ivy cellar dwellers as of late) schedule Grambling or ANY other SWAC team for that matter? xchinscratchx

However, it might not be a good gauge to see who's worse.

Or maybe the scheduling stigma of Ivy athletics (i.e. all eight teams do not have much diversity in scheduling HBCU's, transitionary programs, etc. in most "universal" sports [e.g. basketball, baseball, softball, even soccer]) is reflected in my opinion? xconfusedx

not all of us are bad, you'd get a heck of a game from us. I'd like to see a Southern/Harvard matchup. But Grambling is the worst team I've seen on any level since the 92 PVU team. We beat em by 30+ at Grambling. Texas Southern put 95 on em and the coach called off the dogs with 10 minutes left.

Southern wouldn't break 50 points on us... but alas, we haven't played eachother in a while..i think since I was still at SFA in the mid 00s...

honestly we still have a ways to go but we have a coach with some sense that has us pointed in the right direction.

I don't know if anyone can be worse than NJIT was a few years ago, although Towson the past 2 years would have been close competition.

Grambling has company so far: Maryland-Eastern Shore. But Grambling may be on track to become the first winless team in Division I in 5 years. xsmhx

I highly doubt that, they'd beat grambling by at least 15 points.
