Hopefully, this will not affect the football program.

State is a MESS. Millions of dollars missing on the Clyburn Transportation Project and these are not the last bunch that will go to jail from the former leadership of S.C. State Univ.

Unfortunately, SC State has a long history of its board acting independently of the state.

Enrollment is down by 500. It would take a massive money infusion by the state to keep the school at its current level. Things will get much worse before its over. It is hard to picture them maintaining a competitive DI athletic program during this period.

Maybe Claflin could start football.

I hate it for Coach Buddy Pough. He's a good person. I'm from Orangeburg(left in 1992. 2nd best thing I ever did was leaving that dump of a town. 1st was excepting Jesus as my Savior.)
