#40 in average and #30 in total attendance not bad, better than our GWFC days but still have a ways to go.

Think ours was worse. We averaged 20k during the season, then put up a monster 8,888 for our the UCA game...ugh xbangx

Best stat of that whole list. 9 home games. Take that every time.

Stadium capacity must not include temporary seating. App's seating is about 2,000 less than seated capacity.

We ended the year about 100 butts short of a sellout on average for every home game. When is the NCAA going to figure out that we did a stadium expansion 2 years ago?

I'm amazed that even with a mediocre team & declining area interest that UD is still in the top 5. That speaks to where FCS is today...

Aren't El Cid cadets required to go to games?

Aren't El Cid cadets required to go to games?

unless you're on detail or leave Cadets attend games.

Somebody probably has to call them. Robert Morris' stadium opened eight seasons ago and they're still using the (larger) capacity from Moon Stadium. Central Connecticut's expansion isn't in there either, but that was only this year.

The Holy Cross figures are sickening!!! Way to kill a great program Father!! I remember when HC Dropped Scholarships and didnt play post season. "we dont want Holy Cross to be a Football factory" What a joke!

The Central Arkansas game was embarrassing, the stadium looked and sounded so empty. Only 2,000 of the 8,888 were students. Finals hadn't even started, so besides the $5 ticket price students didn't really have a reason to not show up. Quite a shame, especially since they missed a great game.

The more exact quote was something along the line of: "We are not in the entertainment business..."

HC's numbers this year were actually not too bad given a 2-9 season....though nowhere near our attendance averages before we dropped scholarships, we still outdrew on average schools like Villanova, Lehigh, Stony Brook and were close to many other CAA schools.

I'd contend that no other FCS program in the country has the upside of Holy Cross in terms of renewed support/attendance if we become relatively stronger with scholarships.

Yeah I was expecting a huge crowd with all that talk about it by GSU fans and others. SEC game had tons to do with it I'm sure.

Then you should pay attention to someone besides yourself.

But for the Yale game, Harvard's average would have been under 8000. Next year, with The Game in New Haven, that may come to pass.xsmhx

Bad year for the Tribe with nasty weather (two lightening delays), and a record from hell. First time under 10,000 average in many years.

Why is this? Great location, best Ivy team of the past 15 years...even with the lack of promotion, Harvard should be averaging 12-15,000 a game.

If Harvard was 1-9 every year, what would the attendance be--Columbia-sized, or merely the same 8,000 people regardless?
