Lemont has Cog Hill... My rooting interest here is Oregon.

Cog Hill is a joke. Played there hundreds of times when I lived in the south burbs.
Good run by Lemont.

Rees Jones is massacring er… renovating the Dubsdread Course to be U.S. Open ready. It sucks that the Western Open was punished under the new PGA Tour schedule. It wasn't a hoky-poky tournament like the Quad Cities Open; this was one everyone played in.

That's right - good pitching always beats good hitting, silly boy. Georgia 8-0 over NH to advance to the U.S. final against Oregon. Great run by the NH squad, though. They did hit the ball hard on a number of occasions. I don't think the U.S. champ has much of a chance against the international champ this year. My prediction - Japan over Mexico and then Japan in a romp over Georgia.

I kinda figured NH would be in trouble without Bean pitching. Good run for the NH youngsters

I think you meant Kyle Carter - who is a hell of a little ball player. I hope you're right, but the kids from Japan look awfully hard to beat.

Is he the Georgia pitcher who wears his hat crooked? Looks crappy, somebody needs to 'straighten' him out. :nono:

:o oops
The kid can bring it....76 mph is wicked in Little League. My question. Is Japan really that good or are they facing subpar competition?
I hope to see the Carter kid in a GSU baseball uni in about 4 or 5 years.

If the kid develops like he should, he will never see a college uni

A lot of people were basically saying the same things when North Carolina faced Oregon State. Go Beaverton
