Nice pic.

I thought the entire FCS-world would care a WHOLE lot so I posted it here xsmiley_wix. The statue is 77 feet high and a cool part of the drive up from Houston.

I always enjoy seeing the statue on the way back from houston/woodlands/conroe. It lets me know I'm almost home. It can be seen several miles away when heading north, especially at night.

Nothing like seeing a big extra tall white man on the interstate when you're sleepily driving from the metroplex to montgomery county. *smh*

I do not like that statue, obviously lol.

The Sam statue is a sight to see though. Worth pulling off of the freeway and checking out up close

If any of you stop and decide to look at it, PLEASE take the next exit and go into the visitors center. Parking on the shoulder in a 75 mph zone isn't very smart, especially with the other morons on 45.

Its nice that you finally paid the electricity bill to get the lights turned back on. A big booster must have stepped up to the plate.

Couldn't have said it better myself regarding the idiots on I-45. After all...

55 mph = 65 mph
65 mph = 75 mph
75 mph = punch the accelerator until the engine burns up

Not sure whatvit is about 45 but I always feel like I'm coming off pit row when getting on...
